FAQS
ARE CELL PHONES ALLOWED ON THE RIDE?
While we want you to create wonderful memories during your time here, we ask that you minimize cell phone use. Safety is a main priority for us so keeping your hands on the reins is important. We are not responsible for dropped, lost, or damaged personal items.
DO I HAVE TO WEAR A HELMET?
Helmets are REQUIRED to be worn by everyone. All helmets are sprayed between uses and washed regularly for cleanliness. You are welcome to bring your own helmet if you prefer.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
The main requirement is closed toed shoes. Flip flops and sandals are not appropriate footwear around horses. No backpacks are allowed. Shorts are fine, although some people say the saddle pinch in shorts.
IS THERE A WEIGHT RESTRICTION?
Our weight limit is approximately 250 pounds. However, this chart is a better representation of most appropriate height to weight ratios that is most appropriate.

WHAT IF IT RAINS?
We go out rain or shine! We will cancel for severe storms where safety is involved. If you chose not to go because of the weather conditions, we would do our best to reschedule your ride. Refunds are only given if rides are cancelled 24 hours prior to your scheduled ride time.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A GROUP RIDE AND A PRIVATE RIDE?
Group rides consist of approximately 10 riders total. We try to keep people from the same party together but it is not always possible. Children 10 and up are allowed to join group rides. Private rides are just your party. We require children 6 to 9 to be in private rides.
