MOUNT MANSFIELD EQUESTRIAN CENTER PROGRAMS
BEGINNER GUIDED TRAIL RIDES
Join us for guided walk/trot trail rides in scenic Stowe! Rides run daily from 11am-3pm by reservation. Call us to schedule an hour long riding experience! We offer private rides with just you and your guests ($80 per rider) OR group rides of 10 people including you, your guests, and others to fill out the ride ($60 per rider).
Please note, we can only accept riders ages 6 and up with a maximum rider weight of 240 pounds. All riders must be able to mount, dismount, and follow directions while on and around the horses. We also only accept cash or check at this time.
KIDS’ DAY CAMP
A new offering to the stable this year - day camp! Campers are invited to attend from 10:30am-3:30pm daily with reservations. During camp, children will learn basic horse care, have a chance to groom horses, make homemade horse treats, and participate in rodeo events on foot. They'll even have a take home goodie of a painted horseshoe picture frame! This experience is targeted to give children a chance to experience the joys of being up close and personal with horses! Cost is $150 per child per day.
PONY RIDES
Strawberry shortcake or one of our other gentle kids horses take children 3 to 7 on a beautiful walk through the pasture while a handler leads them on their adventure. The cost is $25. Rides do require reservations.
